Deputy Head of Senior School (Academic) (Job Start Date: August 2024)
About Role
The Senior School seeks an innovative, highly motivated, and experienced Deputy Head to work with the Head Teacher to lead and manage the School. The Deputy Head is an integral part of the Senior School Leadership team and will oversea the academic aspects of the school including: responsibility for Curriculum development, Learning and Teaching, Assessment and Professional Development. Working closely with other members of the Senior School Leadership team you will ensure mapping and alignment of the curriculum, embed the Approaches to Teaching and lead on best practices and innovative teaching ensuring the highest learning standards are met.

Requirement
• Prior experience as a deputy head or assistant head.
• Professional knowledge (of curricula, quality management, school organization and current educational issues)
• Use of data to improve learning and teaching.
• Successful partnerships with school parents and communities.
• Ability to support, motivate, lead and manage staff to teaching and learning.
• Expertise to secure students’ wellbeing and belonging and enable students to become resilient learners.
