Overall Description

The EAL Coordinator is part of the Middle Management structure of the Primary and lower Secondary School, forming the link between the Teachers and the School’s Leadership. The role will address how all students are catered for in their language learning in the Secondary school. To support the ethos that all teachers are language teachers, the person in this role will coordinate the development of appropriate practices, policies and resources to ensure that all teachers across the Primary and Lower secondary school feel equipped to teach language alongside content to support students in their language development. This position involves some teaching responsibilities. Thus, the EAL Coordinator also has to fulfil the duties of a Teacher
