Job Title: Early Childhood PE Teacher & Assistant Football Coach
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic educator to serve as an Early Childhood PE Teacher & Assistant Football Coach. This hybrid role supports both early childhood physical development and the technical, tactical, and holistic growth of student-athletes aged 5–18. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, student-centered professional who promotes physical literacy in early years and contributes meaningfully to the CIS Football Academy and After-School Athletics program.
Key Responsibilities
Early Childhood Physical Education (Ages 2–6)
– Deliver developmentally appropriate PE lessons that build motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and confidence.
– Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for physical exploration and movement.
– Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate physical activity into broader learning goals.
– Assess student progress and maintain regular communication with parents and school leaders.
– Encourage healthy lifestyle habits through play-based learning.
Football Coaching & Athletics Support (Ages 5–18)
– Instruct players of various skill levels in football technique, gameplay, and tactical understanding.
– Co-plan training sessions with the Head Coach and align with program objectives and age-specific goals.
– Coach After-School Activities (ASA) groups, Football Academy, and Saturday sessions.
– Provide timely, constructive feedback to players during practices and matches.
– Assist in organizing fixtures, managing equipment, and handling administrative tasks.
– Serve as a positive role model and mentor to student-athletes.
Professional Expectations
– Maintain effective communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
– Uphold professional conduct on and off the field at all times.
– Participate in evening/weekend coaching sessions and school events.
– Support school trips as a responsible adult chaperone when required.
– Engage in continuous professional development in both PE and coaching.
Qualifications and Attributes
– Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field (required).
– Coaching certification in Football (preferred); First Aid certification (required).
– Bilingual in Chinese (preferred) and English (fluent required).
– Experience working with early learners and/or coaching competitive football.
– Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
– Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and committed to student well-being and achievement.
