eCommerce Manager, Retail Online APAC
Key Qualifications
- 7-10 years experience in digital/eCommerce or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
- Experience of managing a leading consumer Brand
- Deep knowledge and interest of the China online retail landscape and digital commerce trends
- Deep knowledge of China’s digital platforms, including capabilities, drivers and best practices
- Experience building internal and cross functional processes to support new work streams and the consistent track record to influence across teams to drive innovation and results
- Strong background in reporting and presenting commercial performance objectives, including market insights and commercial requirements
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation communications skills
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and hands-on mentality
- Proven analytical and numerical aptitude; proficient in analyzing data for commercial and strategy decisions
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- The courage and energy to persevere when systems or structure are in constant motion
- Fluent in Chinese and English is essential
Description
This role will be a key enabler of Apple Retail’s eCommerce expansion across digital platforms in China. You will be responsible for business planning and support development of strategic capital and operational road-maps as well as implementation of these initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a self-starter with a deep understanding of the elements required to drive an emerging business, including the ability to develop strong market plans, the experience of working closely with strategic partners (including social platforms, marketplaces and lifestyle platforms) and the know-how to build out a clear vision of opportunity and growth for Online. Additionally you will be able to identify and prioritize key business improvements and development opportunities across digital platforms. You will have a strong analytical approach and be able to advise the requirements to build out market insights and action plans. This includes driving an understanding of customer segments, seasonal nuances as well as in-depth market insight that are needed to optimize commercial performance.
This role also requires a person who is adept in working with cross functional teams including Marcom, Publishing, Operations, Stores, Contact Centers and Product Management.
Education & Experience
BA/BS required, MBA a plus

- Direct experience in e-commerce or equivalent experience with an category management, or online operation background
- Direct experience in leading consultant firm for digital innovation
- Occasional travel may be required
