We are currently seeking experienced and qualified English Language Acquisition and Language & Literature Teachers to join our dynamic team of educators.
Position: English Language Acquisition and Language & Literature Teacher
Department: English and Literature
Subject: Language Arts/Language and Literature
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a high/secondary school setting
– Experience with Advanced Placement curriculum preferred
– Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories, literature analysis, writing skills development, grammar rules, vocabulary building techniques etc.
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
– Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers as well as independently when required
– Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel etc.
