English Language Teaching Position Vacancy
Job Description
The School of Humanities, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine seeks a qualified candidate for English language teaching positions on a 12-month basis.
Potential Courses to teach:
- Oral English
- English Pronunciation / Phonetics
- Business English Writing
- Selected Readings from Newspapers and Magazines
- Culture of English-speaking Countries
Required qualifications:
- Native English-speakers (with residence permit in China preferred);
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field (ESL; Linguistics; Literature; Education; Philosophy; Medicine, etc);
- At least two years’ experience of English language teaching;
- Holding at least one of the following certificates: TEFL, TESL, TESOL, TKT, CELTA;
- Willingness and ability to work with other faculty members in a team;
- Strong communication skills;
- Strong sense of responsibility to motivate students to learn English;
- Willing to work in the new Liangxiang campus in Fangshan District (southwest Beijing; shuttle bus available)
Vacancies:
One vacancy. Full time teaching job starting from late August, 2018.
Benefits:
Base salary (8000 RMB for bachelor and higher for postgraduate holder) for a weekly workload of 12 hours plus free housing on campus and reimbursement of a round-trip (between Beijing and your hometown) economy class air tickets. Pay scales, welfare, terms and conditions for different responsibilities may differ.
