Thank you for your interest in joining us at Fuyang Normal University (FYNU), a practical high-level institution of higher education with distinctive local characteristics. Currently there are several job openings at FYNU listed as follows:

Position Title

  • Foreign Instructor (English, Japanese)

Working Place

  • Applications are invited for appointment as instructors in the School of Foreign Languages, Fuyang Normal University, Fuyang, Anhui Province, P.R. China, on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Position Requirements

  • Teaching positions are open to native speakers below 60 years old, who are holders of a BA or MA or PhD degree in languages, linguistics, literature, education, culture, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and preferably TEFL/TESOL or JLPT certificates.
  • The appointee should be qualified to teach speaking and listening courses for undergraduate programs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Teach speaking and listening courses for undergraduate programs, 18 hours per week, and give a public lecture on cultural topics per academic year.

Salary

  • A monthly salary ranging from 12000RMB to 15000RMB, commensurate with educational background and teaching experience.
  • After expiration of the contract, 2200RMB for travelling allowance and 4000RMB or 10000 RMB for air tickets will be provided.

Insurance

  • Fuyang Normal University bears the cost of the insurance (1680 RMB annual premium).

Accommodation

  • The foreign teachers can stay in the foreign expert apartments on campus free of charge.

Materials

  • CV, recent (within three months) regular medical exam report, final degree diploma, passport page with photo and number (JPG), recent photo, two recommendation letters.
