Professor/Project Introduction
Professor C. F. Jeff Wu is the X.Q. Deng Presidential Chair Professor at the School of Data Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He was elected a Member of the National Academy of Engineering (2004), and a Member (Academician) of Academia Sinica (2000). He is renowned for his work on the convergence of the EM algorithm, resampling methods such as the bootstrap and jackknife, and industrial statistics, including design of experiments and robust parameter design. He has received several prestigious awards, including the COPSS Presidents’ Award, the Shewhart Medal, the COPSS Fisher Lectureship, the George Box Medal from ENBIS, the Deming Lecturer Award, the Pan Wenyuan Technology Award, and etc. This project focuses on cutting-edge topics, including uncertainty quantification, digital twin, computer experiments, and online experiments (design, modeling, and optimization methods).

Job Description
Applicants should have:
1. A Bachelor or above degree, overseas study experience is preferred;
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) will be a must;
3. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, excellent written skills will be a plus;
4. Good organization skills, interpersonal skills, learning skills and a strong sense of responsibility;
5. Able to work independently, positive and have continuous improvement mindset.
Job Duties include:
1. To assist in the administrative tasks such as procurement and funding management, travel arrangement, visitor reception, reimbursement, logistic support, academician certification, event/meeting/seminar organization and follow up, etc.;
2. To help grant application and also assist in managing team grants;
3. To assist in document management;
4. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
