Brief Job Overview:
As a DP Coordinator at one of our secondary schools, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest quality of learning and teaching across the IB continuum. You will work closely with curriculum leaders and be responsible for implementing programmes by contributing to the planning, learning and teaching of lessons. As well as this, a DP Coordinator is expected to contribute to the development of people, professional learning and organisational culture within the school community.
This opportunity will require you to assume roles beyond the classroom as you will be required to be a key leader within the school community. We are seeking individuals who can work collaboratively with colleagues and other members of the school community. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in the development of school policies and various ad-hoc initiatives. It is likely that this role will have some teaching responsibilities.
General Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate
– Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)
– *iPGCE (assessment only) is not eligible for Teacher Registration status by the Hong Kong Education Bureau
– An understanding of the MYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous
– Experience in leadership roles is required
