Anhui International Studies University (AISU) is located in the Zipengshan Scenic Area, a national 4A tourist attraction in Fei xi County, Hefei, Anhui Province, China. Founded in 2002, AISU is a provincial privately owned university featuring education of foreign languages and literature.

The undergraduate courses offered at AISU cover five disciplines ranging from literature to economics, management, art and engineering, and among the thirty-eight majors are nine foreign languages including English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Thai, German, Russian, French and Spanish, making AISU the one with the most majors of foreign languages in Anhui Province. Here in AISU 700 staff members and 14,000 students are enjoying the garden university life in the attractive scenic area.

The Office of International Exchangeand Cooperation of the university is responsible for implementing foreign affairs policies, formulating the development plan for international exchange and cooperation, coordinating international exchange and cooperation affairs,engaging foreign teachers and experts and recruiting students from abroad. We currently have12 foreign teachers and experts from the UK, the US, Germany, Canada, Cuba, Yemen, Ukraine, Korea, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines working with us at AISU.

We recruit new teachers and experts on an annual basis, and applications are invited from November onwards for positions commencing the following September. For the 2023-2024 school year, more of those interested teachers and experts are expected to join us, specifically teachers of English, Portuguese and French.

Requirements:

  • Native speakers;
  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • At least two years teaching experience or holding TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate;
  • Age 55 below with related teaching experience, sound health and non-criminal record.
