Position I: English Teacher

College: College of Foreign Languages and Cultures

Academic Discipline: English language and literature

Qualifications:

1. Native English speaker with a Master’s degree and above of relevant major field（especially of English language and literature）;

2. Capable of advising on academic competition and accomplishing other tasks related to teaching;

3. Willing to organize after-class activities and participate in activities organized by the college and department.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work full-time in Xiamen University;

2. Teach 12 class hours (and above) per week, and evaluate students by established means to measure their progress in achieving course objectives;

3. Fulfill relevant administrative work as well as participate in activities organized by the School and/or the University.

Position II: Japanese Teacher

College: College of Foreign Languages and Cultures

Academic Discipline: Japanese language and literature

Qualifications:

1. Native Japanese speaker with a Master’s degree and above of relevant major field (especially of Japanese language education, Japanese literature and Japanese linguistics), or with a Master’s degree and Japanese teacher qualification certificate;

2. Basic understanding of Chinese and capable of teaching post-graduates in Japanese interpreting and translation is preferred.

Position III: French Teacher
