As Global Communications Manager at CGTN, you will drive global brand visibility and forge impactful strategic partnerships, directly influencing how stories resonate worldwide. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead innovative, data-driven initiatives in an agile, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Global Brand Leadership:

Lead integrated strategies across key digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X).

Execute data-driven campaigns to enhance audience engagement and visibility in critical markets including the EU, US, ASEAN, Africa, and Latin America.

Maintain brand consistency and tailor messaging across diverse cultural contexts.

Collaborate proactively with global media platforms and influencers to amplify brand reach.

Strategic Partnership Development:

Cultivate partnerships with international media entities, think tanks, universities, KOLs, and creators across key markets.

Coordinate with content teams to produce localized, authentic, and engaging content for global audiences.

News-Event Driven Campaigns:

Develop and manage high-impact multimedia campaigns linked to geopolitical, economic, and cultural events.

Organize and lead international events, including forums and video festivals such as “Multipolar World Dialogue” and “Third Eye on China.”

Actively monitor media response and audience feedback to optimize strategy and messaging in real-time.

Content Excellence:

Oversee content quality across all communication channels, including editorial oversight of English-language materials.

Develop compelling narratives and promotional materials ensuring clarity, consistency, and resonance with target audiences.

Innovation & Crisis Management:

Integrate generative AI solutions to optimize content personalization and workflow efficiency.

Manage rapid-response strategies to safeguard brand reputation during critical news cycles.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in global communications, with proven success in international campaign management (experience with state media or global PR agencies preferred).

Native-level English proficiency; additional language skills in Arabic, Spanish, Russian, or French are highly advantageous.

Expertise with social analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Trends) and content management systems.

Deep understanding of global media environments, particularly Western and Global South media landscapes.

Proven capability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with strong cultural adaptability.
