Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher in Shanghai Concord Academy, starting from August 2024

Position Summary 职责描述：

Be an excellent and creative classroom practitioner to manage and responsible for teaching, learning, classroom management and students’ health and safety. To Communicate accurately and fluently in spoken and written English and work on the curriculum across Early Years. To participate in all kinds of meetings, trainings and reviews or activities to continuing professional development.

作为优秀并附有创造力的专业教师，管理并负责日常教学和学习活动、课堂管理及学生的健康安全。准确、流利的使用英语交流并进行早期教育的课程教学。参与各种形式的会议、培训、评估及活动以不断提升专业发展。

Establish medium term plans for themes throughout the academic year. Ensuring coverage and inclusion of international aspects

与中教共同建立学期中间的各项主题活动计划，确保主题活动会覆盖国际化的内容。

Be an effective role model regarding behavior and expectations, effectively following the behavior policy of the school；

以身作则，遵守学校的行为准则；

Be thoroughly invested in the pastoral care of all students；

全身心的投入到对学生的生活及身心关怀中；

Ensure planning reflects the needs and stages of development of students in your class. Enhance areas of learning and plan for challenge and support where necessary；

确保课程及活动计划符合班级学生的需要和发展阶段，根据需要提高各项学习和计划；

Make effective use of the school’s ICT resources, ensuring they enhance teaching and learning

有效使用学校的ICT资源，确保他们提高教学和学习效果；

Lead on an agreed area of the curriculum across Early Years；

带领团队，根据已沟通的内容，完成早期教育课程；

Early Years teachers should expect to undertake any other reasonable duties for the further development of the school.

Duties and Responsibilities 工作职责

Be an excellent and creative classroom practitioner, planning, teaching and assessing students;

作为优秀并富有创造力的主班专业教师，进行课堂准备、日常教学活动、并评估学生；

Be responsible for the health and safety and Safeguarding of students；

负责学生的健康与安全；

Have a positive impact on educational progress, establish and maintain accurate assessment records, identify accurate next steps for students and produce informative reports to parents;

对儿童教育的发展起到正面影响，建立并维护准确的学生评估记录，对不同学生的下一步教学计划做出准确判断，并形成完整的报告，提供给家长；

To make, use and maintain the teaching resources;

负责教具的制作、投放与维护;

To be responsible for the decoration of classroom and big events;

负责教室环境布置及重大活动的布置；

To be responsible for parent communication；

负责日常家长沟通及翻译；

Communicate accurately and fluently in spoken and written English;

准确、流利的用英语交流和书写；

Attend regular year group and team meetings, contributing fully and sharing good practice；

定期参与年级组及团队会议，认真投入，与同事分享经验；

Participate in review meetings and lesson observations to support the development of teaching and learning;

参与听课评课、绩效评估会议，以全面发展教学能力；

Work productively within your class team, year group team and Early Years team for the benefit of teaching and learning and continuing professional development.;

在班级团队、年级组、教学团队展开富有成效的教学和学习，并不断提升职业发展；

Contributing effectively to the wider aspects of the school, e.g. extracurricular activities;

对学校的各方面发展及活动作出积极贡献，包括但不限于课外活动等

Other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Requirement 岗位要求

1.     Bachelor degree or above;

大学本科及以上学历；

2.     A formal teaching qualification and at least 2 years teaching experience as an excellent classroom teacher;

教学相关的资格证书及至少2年优秀主班老师的相关经验；

3.     The capability and experience of teaching expertly and confidently within the Early Years or Key Stage One age range;

对于早期教育及KS1年龄阶段，有专业并自信的教学能力及经验；

4.     A willingness to accommodate the needs of students with varied linguistic ability;

愿意适应不同语言水平学生的学习需求；

5.     Commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within the class;

全身心的投入对所有班级学生的生活及身心关怀；

6.     Excellent administrative, organizational and ICT skills;

优秀的行政管理、组织及ICT技能；

7.     Experience of working overseas or with international students would be an advantage.

有在国际化工作环境中工作经验的人优先考虑。
