Kindergarten Homeroom Teachers – Nanjing Yuzhongshan Kindergarten

English Teacher (Early Childhood)

We are seeking two passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join our team.

About the Role

• Student Age Group: 2-6 years old
• Class Size: Up to 20 students per class, supported by a qualified Ayi (nanny/assistant) and bilingual teaching assistants.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: 20,000 – 30,000 RMB per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Paid Holidays:
  • 2 weeks fully paid Summer Holiday
  • 2 weeks fully paid Winter Holiday
  • 1 week fully paid Christmas Holiday

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Practice & Student Development

1. Lesson Design & Delivery: Plan, deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
2. Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on student performance.
3. Curriculum Implementation: Effectively implement the Kids ‘R’ Kids age-appropriate curriculum.
4. Student Assessment: Record and assess student performance across various domains, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
5. New Student Enrollment: Lead engaging demo classes to attract and enroll new students.
6. Parent Communication: Serve as a liaison for parent concerns and organize parent-teacher conferences.
7. Field Trips: Organize and lead student field trips.
8. Professional Development Leadership: Lead professional development initiatives based on insights gained from Kids ‘R’ Kids workshops.
9. School Activities: Contribute to Kids ‘R’ Kids sporting, cultural, and special student activities.

Teamwork & Collaboration

1. Staff Well-being: Provide pastoral care and support for colleagues.
2. Collaboration: Positively collaborate with all colleagues, including ELL (English Language Learners) and Learning Support teams.
3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum development as needed.
4. Policy Implementation: Share collective responsibility for the effective implementation of school policies.

Educational Administration

1. Documentation: Maintain daily records and documents accurately.
2. Material Preparation: Prepare teaching materials as required.
3. Classroom Environment: Maintain an organized and stimulating classroom environment and displays.
4. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
5. Parent Relationships: Foster positive relationships with parents.
6. Property Care: Take proper care of all school properties.

Job Requirements

• Native English Speaker or TEFL/TESOL Certified.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (a focus in Language or Early Childhood Education is preferred).
• 2+ years of related teaching experience is preferred.
• Genuine passion for teaching, with a patient and collaborative approach within a team setting.
• Possession of all necessary documents for a teaching visa.
