Additional School Requirements:
The successful candidate should:
- Possess a degree/qualification in English, Education, Linguistics, or other humanities subjects.
- Over two years of international school teaching experience and experience in teaching AP or IB programs preferred. Be able to use technology to track student progress.
- Have strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess the ability to work with diverse colleagues, students, and parents, and different cultures.
- Experience working in a multicultural/international school setting is a bonus.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the teaching faculty.

Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily teaching tasks, including strong lesson planning, engaging lesson delivery, high-level and informative assessment, and quality feedback, according to the set curriculum and expectations of VMA;
- Create appropriate pacing guides and lesson plans to maintain a high level of rigor throughout the course to ensure that students reach high academic proficiency;
- Fulfill the teaching requirements, rules, and regulations set by the school;
- Actively communicate with parents and student mentors to help students progress and achieve self-discipline and motivation;
- Be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Be aware of and actively support and accommodate English Second Language speakers in your lessons.
- Complete all administrative and record-keeping tasks Department Chairs and Academic Directors set.
