Lower School PE Teacher – Chaoyang District, Beijing, China

Essential Requirements: 

1. At least 3 years experience as qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)              
2. A good understanding of curriculum developments in the specific phase area              
3. An understanding of how Assessment for Learning can improve student performance              
4. Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children.              
5. Effective communication and engagement with children and their families.              
6. Experience/confidence to teach across the age range of 4-11.
7. Teaching experience in an International School              
8. Know how to challenge and differentiate for children of varying abilities              
9. Have taken a lead role in organizing and implementing extra-curricular activities.              
10. Open to exploring innovative approaches from across the educational field.              
11. Subject knowledge sufficient to challenge able students and achieve high outcomes.              
12. Knowledge and understanding of positive disciplinary methods.              
13. Knowledge and understanding of child development and its impact on behavior.
