Job Description

Back office machine learning data scientist will build various machine learning solutions including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and analytical products to improve PayPal backend efficiency including loss management, Opex saving and operation excellence.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in the back end risk modeling projects, leveraging advanced statistical/data mining techniques to build analytical solutions.
• Develop tools and automation processes to improve the overall efficiency of risk management solution delivery.
Requirements
• Strong programming skills in SAS or R or Java or Python
• Good knowledge in risk/financial analysis or data mining or modeling
• Sufficient knowledge in machine learning – supervised, unsupervised
• Working knowledge of database: Oracle or MySQL or Teradata
• Big plus for being familiar with Graph, hadoop
