Position Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Paying close attention to the development of contemporary China and conduct in-depth academic and policy research on international relations, economics, politics, public policy, global affairs, global politics, economics or related issues;
2. Participating in the strategic consulting of think tanks, provided decision-making consulting services for government departments, and wrote government policy reports;
3. Independently undertaking key project work in relevant professional fields and writing relevant reports or papers;
4. Participating in or leading related activities of the Institute, including academic forums, round table discussions and public lectures;
5. Participating in the exchange and cooperation between the Institute and other research institutions around the world, and completing the special construction work of the Institute and other work related to the Institute.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1.A PhD degree in a relevant discipline, preferably international relations, political science, economics, sociology or related field;
2.Applicants with outstanding research experience in the following fields are preferred: public policy, international relations, international political economics, economics, big data or a related discipline, or applicants with a Science and Engineering background who have an interest in the fields mentioned above.
3. Applicants have strong policy analysis ability and solid scientific research ability, and those with high-quality publication records are preferred;
4. There is no age limit for applicants, and those who have participated in or presided over major government projects and written development reports are preferred;
5. Able to use both Chinese and English proficiently as the working language to write research papers and policy reports.
