Description
The
position is associated with teaching two to three of the following subjects: Biological Psychology; History and
Systems in Psychology; Research Methods in Psychology; Experimental Psychology;
Social Psychology; Psychological Assessment and Testing; Educational
Psychology; Psychology of Cultural Diversity; Introduction to Psychology;
Psychology of Chinese People; and Developmental Psychology etc. The position is
also expected to contribute to school-based committees, community services, and
the research area of neuroscience or neuropsychology.
Job Requirement
Candidates must have earned a doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline
from a recognized university. Interests and experience in leading a research
laboratory, applying grants in the discipline of neuroscience or
neuropsychology, and administering MRI, fNIRS, EEG/ERP BESA, E-Prime, and
MATLAB are required. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to
excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be made on a
fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond
the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
