Description
Candidates with expertise in one or more of the
following areas: Nutrition, Toxicology, Health Science or Biochemistry are
welcome. Candidates should have a PhD. Post-doctoral experience is highly
recommended. Strong English language skill including speaking and writing is
mandatory. Preference will be given to candidate who can undertake independent
research leading to outstanding outcomes or have extensive food industry
working experience.

Candidates should have a PhD degree with extensive
working experience in a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected
to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and
research. Preference will be given to candidates who can undertake independent
research leading to outstanding outcomes, including publications in high
quality international-refereed journals. Academic rank will be determined in
accordance with successful candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.
The new faculty member is expected to teach some
of the following courses: Nutrition,
Physiology, Food Toxicology, Life Cycle Nutrition, Food Safety and Quality
Management System, Food Security and Sustainability, Nutrition and Exercise,
Life Style and Health, Food Product Development, Molecular Biology, Research
Methods in Food Science, etc. (Please supplement if any
requirement/preference related to Education Background, Research Interest,
Industry Experiences, Language, Skills etc.)

Appointment
Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be
made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond
the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement. The College reserves the right not to fill
