Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in MA in Communication Studies (Ref: GS211002) 

Candidates with teaching interest and key research strength in the following subject areas: Communication Studies, Media and Communication, Big Data Analytics for Media and Communication, strategic Public Relations and Crisis Management, International Advertising, Communication Technologies and Media Organization, Cooperate Communication, Media Law and Ethics.

Job Requirement

All applicants should hold a PhD degree with solid track record in research in a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in postgraduate teaching (Chinese as the Medium of Instruction). Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
