Job Description 

Media Arts and Design Programme is seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas: Interactive Design, 3D Design, Digital Imaging and Design, 2-D and 3-D Animation, Interactive Media, etc. Successful candidate should also be qualified to teach theoretical courses in arts and design. In addition to creative practice and academic research, the candidate will be responsible for supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and caring for students and academic promotion.

Job Requirement 

Candidates should have a PhD degree or have a Master’s degree of Design or Fine Arts with extensive working experience in a related discipline for more than 5 years. Candidates are required to know the academic theories and practices of the related art and design discipline. Good English and/or Chinese proficiency both in oral and written communication is required. Good research background is preferable. Candidates should be cooperative, patient and enthusiastic, at the same time, s/he is expected to be able to work under pressure with good problem-solving skills.

Appointment Terms

Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
