Job Description
Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Public Relations (theory, writing, crisis communication, campaign, etc.), Media Planning, Event Planning, Integrated Marketing Communication, Digital Media, Consumer Behavior, Advertising.
The position will include teaching in the Public Relations and Advertising Program, supervising capstone projects, advising undergraduate and graduate students, and providing service to the department and the university.
Job Requirement
Candidates should hold a PhD in a related discipline. Relevant industrial experience is highly valued. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
