Introduction to the Russian Department

Russian department information

The major of Applied Russian of Tourism College of Zhejiang began to enroll students in 2005, and there are currently 120 students enrolled in the program. Based on the needs of Zhejiang’s commerce and tourism industry, relying on the increasingly close cooperation between China and Russia and Zhejiang’s excellent foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce environment, the program is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled personnel with Russian language skills, cross-cultural communication skills, business management skills or cultural tourism operation skills.

Main Courses

Intensive Reading of Russian, Oral Russian, Listening to Russian, Business Russian, Tourism Russian, Overview of Russian-speaking Countries.

Faculty

There are 4 full-time teachers in the Applied Russian Program, including 1 professor, all of whom have a master’s degree with overseas study and training background. There is currently 1 foreign teacher in the program.
