Hanova International School in Xi’an, China, is looking to recruit an experienced teacher of IB English A/B with the availability of August 2025.
Founded in 2012, Xi’an Hanova International School is a community-driven, not-for-profit school, actively supported by the regional government authorities and providing high quality education for the international community in Central and Western China.
Hanova is an IB authorized World Continuum School offering PYP, MYP and IB Diploma with 20 different Diploma subjects available to students as well as a WASC accredited school and the entire Hanova community takes great pride in our students’ academic achievements and our DP students and teachers continue to celebrate impressive sets of IB exam results posted from each graduating class from Hanova!
The school maintains an admissions philosophy that is both inclusive and selective; as a not-for-profit school, the students’ welfare is of paramount importance and therefore our student enrolment is steadily but naturally increasing.
This year, we are looking to recruit additional experienced IB Ennglish teacher to better provide for our growing student population in our newly opened campus. The ideal candidate would be experienced and recently trained in the new DP English course, and should be committed to MYP.
Since we adopt a collaborative and collegial approach to our teaching and learning, we are also looking for good personal and communicative skills. In addition to this, we prefer colleagues who have experience in the IB DP core components too: at Hanova we adopt a team-teaching approach to TOK and the Extended Essay.
As with all our newly-recruited staff, the successful candidate would also have become a homeroom tutor, contribute to our ECA programme and to be pro-active in the school community.
Since we adopt a collaborative and collegial approach to our teaching and learning, we are also looking for good personal and communicative skills.
