Sedbergh School Fuzhou (SSF) is a new bilingual international boarding school. We have a very close working relationship with Sedbergh School UK and aim to deliver an exciting and holistic education for both Chinese and foreign students. We strive to encourage our students to be ambitious, confident and committed members of our global community and are committed to providing our students with an excellent, state of the art, educational learning environment.

SSF opened in September 2018 with a student body currently comprising 10% international and 90% Chinese students across Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our projected final capacity is 2, 700. At SSF we share the core values of Sedbergh School, UK, building on their excellent reputation and nearly 500 years of history and boarding experience. The school is in a phenomenally busy phase of growth and there are a number of exciting challenges ahead of us. Resilience, positivity and a willingness to get involved are all key.

Fuzhou Sedbergh School is fully committed to safeguarding and child welfare. Candidates must be prepared to undergo child protection screening and appropriate pre-employment checks, including ICPC or DBS for UK based staff as well as prohibition order checks. Candidates based in China will additionally be required to obtain a Chinese police clearance certificate.
