We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Business: Markets & Sec Services IT

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible in business users’ requirement gathering, analysis, detailed requirement documentation.
  • Understand, visualize and optimize the business operating model and process, where appropriate, challenge business requirements and work with users to understand the real business problem statements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among a variety of project stakeholders, including business users, project managers, architects, and development team.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, executable artefacts for development team.
  • Define test strategy, test cases, and acceptance criteria that can be used by development team.
  • Provide business and domain knowledge clarification to technical development team.
  • Work with users on UAT execution, conduct technical solution demo, and defects follow-up.
  • Work within the agile delivery team to contribute to continuous improvement within the e2d delivery in order to maximize quality and efficiency in IT project delivery.


  • Solid knowledge in Finance domain knowledge, especially on investment bank’s derivatives products, risk domain knowledge or work experience in risk management related.
  • Proficient in the risk elements of CS01, JTD, EAD and their individual calculation module.
  • Understand the cause of the risk from different products. i.e. Bonds, Asset-backed securities and Credit Default Swaps.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work both independently and in teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment with deadlines.
  • Team worker in a dynamic environment with proven context switching ability.
  • Proactive learner, capability to pick up new tasks and skills.
  • Familiar with visualization tools for analysis, communication, and solution proposal to confirm ideas/requirements.
  • Experience with DevOps and working in an agile development methodology.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Data analytic skill
  • Good understanding of IT software development life cycle and Agile ways of delivery.
  • Professional certification, e.g. CFA, FRM, PRM or other financial risk related
  • Technical background, able to contribute to software delivery to Production environment.
