I. Forum Introduction

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the spirit of the Central Conference on Talent Work, and the deployment of the series of activities of “Talent Anhui Action” by the Anhui Province Committee, and around the development goal of “building a great, good, and strong Anhui Agricultural University”, vigorously implement the new era talent strengthening university strategy, and promote the high-quality development of the university, Anhui Agricultural University will host the 2^nd International Young Scholars “Qingbai Forum” from April 19^th, 2024 to April 21^st, 2024.

The forum aims to face the world, focus on international frontiers and research hotspots, provide a platform for cooperation, exchange, and achievement display for outstanding young scholars at home and abroad, and take this opportunity to “build nests and attract phoenixes, gather talents and wisdom”, attract more young talents to join Anhui Agricultural University, and discuss frontier academic issues and seek innovative development together!

II. Forum Format

This forum will be conducted in a combined format of “online + offline” and “main forum + sub-forums”, featuring various sessions and formats including plenary session presentations, academic presentations, signing ceremonies, interactive discussions, discipline-specific sub-forums, etc. Please refer to the invitation letter for detailed arrangements.

Category A Talents

Candidate for Appointment

Applicants who have made systematic and creative achievements and contributions in the field of science and technology, or who have made significant and creative achievements and contributions in engineering science and technology.

Category B Talents

Candidate for Appointment

Applicants should have achieved significant recognition in scientific research domestically and internationally, with the ability to lead the discipline to surpass or lead the international advanced level. They should possess strong team leadership and organizational coordination skills, capable of leading academic teams to collaborate on key issues. 

Category C Talents

Applicants should have outstanding academic achievements in scientific research, possess strong team leadership and organizational coordination skills, and have the ability to assist the discipline in catching up with or maintaining the international advanced level. 

Category D Talents

Candidate for Appointment

Applicants should hold the position of Assistant Professor or higher at renowned foreign universities or research institutions, or hold the position of Associate Professor or higher at renowned domestic universities or research institutions, or have more than 2 years of work experience (including postdoctoral experience). The work experience requirement may be relaxed for those who have obtained a doctoral degree from a prestigious overseas university or a domestic university with national funding. 

Category E Talents

Candidate for Appointment

Applicants should have more than 2 years of work experience (including postdoctoral experience) at renowned universities or research institutions both domestically and internationally, or have held mid-level positions in internationally renowned enterprises as professional and technical personnel. They should demonstrate high levels of research proficiency and strong innovation capabilities, or hold outstanding doctoral degrees from top international universities or research institutes

V. School Introduction

Anhui Agricultural University is located in Hefei, the comprehensive national scientific center and capital of Anhui Province. It is a provincial government-sponsored university with a long history of education, specializing in agricultural and forestry life sciences. It is jointly constructed by the provincial government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.
