Job Summary
At Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science (formerly Nanwai King’s College School Wuxi), our mission is to educate well-rounded young men and women who will make a positive contribution to society.  We are a learning community aspiring to excellence in all aspects and are determined that our school will be at the forefront of educational practice, not only in China but worldwide. Lower Secondary School
As pupils enter lower secondary school level in Grades 7-9, the curriculum options also expand. For instance, the humanities programme distinguishes between geography and history lessons, with science also splitting into three distinct disciplines. Politics and ICT will be added as compulsory elements. The Chinese curriculum is taught through Grades 7-9 by subject specialists from both Chinese and international backgrounds. We have international teachers in English, Science, Drama, Art, PE and Music.
 
Upper Secondary School
Upper Secondary School delivers a British-based curriculum that prepares pupils for university entry in the USA, Canada, England, Europe, Australia, as well as other countries. University counselling is provided to students in all four year groups. Pupils have two entry points to the Upper Secondary School programme. Students can enter a two-year IGCSE programme in Grade 9 which they complete at the end of Grade 10. Alternatively, those who have completed the compulsory Chinese curriculum at another school, and who have good English language proficiency, can enter a one-year IGCSE programme in Grade 10. Both IGCSE programmes prepare pupils to complete A-level courses or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) Programme in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science aims for world-class standards in teaching and learning, therefore salary and benefits packages are highly competitive, including high-quality housing, flights for employee and dependents, and medical insurance for employee and dependents. Full tuition support will be provided for any successful applicant with school-age children. The position will be offered on an initial three-year contract term with annual renewal thereafter.
