AECOM is seeking a Senior Environment Consultant to be based in Shanghai office.

Responsibilities

  1. General/Technical:
  • Assesses the feasibility and soundness of design and operational performance for existing or upgraded water and wastewater treatment system and proposed engineering evaluations, tests, equipment and pipeline system when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing, and insufficient wastewater system management is advisable.

  • Usually performs as a staff advisor and consultant as to technical specialty, a type of facility, industry, equipment or program function.

  • Conducts peer reviews and makes technical presentations.

  • Conducts value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials and building techniques.

  • Provide consulting services at all the stages of project execution such as tender and bidder, conceptual design, detailed design, construction management, installation, commissioning, and operation.

  1. Project Management:
  • May develop and evaluate project plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.

  • Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering for a moderate scope project.

  • Reviews and approves scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments.

  • Tracks overall financial performance of task assignment. This will include coordinating with the Project Manager to monitor sold time and work backlog on task.

  1. Client Management/Revenue Generation:
  • Actively involved with clients and business development
  1. Development & Leadership of Others:
  • Delegates work to, mentors, trains and supervises less experienced staff to complete assignments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master above degree in water &wastewater engineering, environmental engineering or appropriate discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, prefer the background in industrial wastewater design institute or operation company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.

  • Utilization of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of sciences and disciplines.

  • Ability to solve complex issues with limited direction.

  • Diversified knowledge of technology, materials, equipment, design concepts and construction techniques.

  • Good at oral and written English
